    15. Prepare 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

    17. Take as required Oil for frying

    Steps to make Kashmiri Dum Aloo:

    1. Soak dry red chilli in hot water for 5minutes then make a paste by adding garlic and cloves along with it
    2. Peel the potatoes and prick it by using a toothpick then deep fry all of these till golden color
    3. In a mixing bowl add curd and spices red chilli, salt,fennel powder, cumin powder, ginger powder, cardamon powder,prepared chili paste and whisk it.
    4. Now heat ghee in kadhai add asafoetida and then curd mixture, cook it 5 minutes on high flame by stirring constantly then add fried potatoes and mix it well.
    5. Cover it and cook for 12minutes on low flame(don't open the lid in between)
    6. Add sugar and coriander leaves,mix it and serve with hot chapati.
