Take warm water, add sugar, salt, yeast and leave them for 10 minutes to activate yeast. When yeast has activated. Take all-purpose flour in a bowl, add olive oil and activated yeast and make a soft dough. If you feel that the dough is very sticky. You can use 1 Tbsp all-purpose flour.
Now take another bowl and grease it with the oil. Now keep this dough in a bowl, cover it with the plastic and leave it for 1 hour. The dough would have doubled in size. Now punch the dough and roll it out.
I used rectangle shape baking tin. You can use any shape of baking whatever you like. Now greased the baking tray. Layout the dough in the baking tray. Now it’s all up to you which kind of design you want and create your own.
I used cherry tomatoes (yellow, red, brown), carrot, onion, tomato, all coloured pepper, spring onion. (you can use the vegetables as per your choice). Once you have finished decorating your garden, cover it again and leave it for 30 minutes.
Now preheat the oven to 200 degree Celsius. if you don’t want that your vegetables get burn, so for that, first 15 minutes of baking cover the top with an aluminium foil. After 15 minutes remove the foil, brush the top with melted butter and bake it for 35-40 mints at 200 degrees Celsius.
Now Focaccia garden is ready to serve. Garnish with crushed black pepper and oregano, cut it into any slices and enjoy the taste of Italy 🙂
